The Chemistry Department orissa is headed by highly qualified faculty members and has the latest facilities in terms of equipments required in the laboratory as per BPUT curriculum. Students are being watched and guided by the faculty members and demonstrators constantly to conduct experiments to obtain results with utmost accuracy. The spacious lab accommodates 30 students at a time to conduct their experiments successfully. The Dept. also engages itself in extensive research work in the field of Bio-diesel to be produced from non-edible and kitchen waste-oils.
